2009 SLK55?
Question Looking to buy and finally ready

After years of admiring what I believe are the stunning good looks of the SLK55, I am finally ready to take the plunge. Now retired, budget likely limits me to a 2009 or 2010 SLK55. Although I am in Canada, I have imported cars from the US before and know it is workable. So...for those with the experience and willingness to advise...What should I look for. What to avoid? Seem quite a few available around 60k miles, so I assume this is a major service interval. Any options that really improve the vehicle? Really...I would benefit from pretty much any model specific information you folks could share. Many thanks.

2009 SLK55 AMG
This is a bit late but in case you haven't bought be aware. The production of the face lift cars is very limited so US and Canadian choices are equally limited. In fact in BC all but the 2007 world wide production in each model year to the end of the run qualifies for Collector plates in BC as limited production when the get to 15 yr of age.
Mine is a 2009 and only 227 SLK55 AMGs were ever built.
I looked at 5 and nearly bought one and thank the day the seller refused my last and final offer. The next one was it.
Some history, brakes, trans diff i.e. all the bigger ticket items done and I was able to cobble together a decent servicer record. It also has the P30 option so I get the better wheels etc,
