C-Pillar Replacement Process
The C-pillar post covers on our '06 SLK55 AMG were flaking and looked horrible. I bought new left and right OEM covers from the Mercedes Store on Amazon
I followed the process of removing and installing the new covers from this Youtube video. I used PVC cut to 16" to brace the hardtop open while removing and replacing the covers.
Thereafter with the hardtop still open I lubricated all the hardtop areas as shown in this Youtube video
