SLK55 Production Numbers

Production Numbers of SLK350
Thanks for writting me back with the US production numbers for the SLK55. If a 1000 of them are sold in the US--how many are produced each year (double that number or less). PLUS --how does the SLK55 production numbers compair to the standard SLK350??? Thanks for your help and answers!!

It's actually not an 'exact' number. 'Around' a 1000 are shipped to the US each year (or so is the plan). but less than 200 will make it this calendar year. According to AMG, 40% of the cars are going to the North American Market (a vast majority of those, assumingly, to the US).
So, that would leave us to guess an APPROXIMATE number of 2500 cars or so per calendar year. Mercedes does NOT publish AMG sales numbers the way they do for their regular line, so it's hard to tell :-)
