Diamond Silver
What does everyone think abount the SLK55 in the new Diamond Silver color? I can't decide between black or silver or which silver I like better the iridium or diamond. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Both silvers are nice, Iridium is more common. Diamond is a bit more in the blue spectrum (the color temperature is 'colder') while Iridium's color temp is 'warmer' (i.e. more into the red spectrum). The difference isn't huge. I like both. As for black, I think it looses the lines a bit and makes the car looks REALLY small. IF at all, I'd go for the Black Metallic, not all-black.

Dan, thanks for the feedback. I need to get one quickly and my local dealer has a black and diamond silver available. I love the black as it looks mean but the silver does show off the lines better. My only concern is that diamond silver is a little to blue and more of a chick color.

I'd get the silver hands-down. It's really not all that 'blue' - it's just a different spectrum on silver. I actually think it looks as good as Iridium, just different. I can try to post some pics later this week, but mbslk.de has some pictures of all the colours as well - though no AMG 55 in the Gallery. I personally don't think the diamond looks any more 'chick' - if you are indeed worried about that ;-)
