My SLK55 is LEAKING already!
I went to my first car-wash and what an experience! I noticed some minor leaks just above the speaker (the tweeter) on the door by the glass (both sides) and close to the head-restraint bars beside the small windows (both sides)! They were only minor leaks but that is how my mothers SL600 leaks started. They ended up changing the whole roof! I hate to see water go in the speakers.
Also, I had problem with fueling. Only half of the nozzle went in! Very unusual! Anybody know anything about this?

It happened to my mothers C$200,000 SL600! I know: It sucks!

I remember when one auto publication used a fire truck hose on max water pressure on the hardtop seal of a Lexus SC430 and it didn't leak at all... I used to have an Audi TT roadster and the soft top leaked like a SOB when I went through the touchless carwashes...

Touchless! That's where I went to! Funny you mention it!
Lexus! I had a SC400. It was ridiculously perfect and reliable! They have been number one in the JD survey for the past ten years or so, for a reason. But that does not mean we all go and buy Lexus (Toyota). In my opinion Lexus is boring and has no soul!
