The one with the red interior is not my car. I said ten pictures, count down and you will see which pictures are mine. Also look at the SLK 55 AMG with the red and black interior, now look at the name next to the picture, ya thats right, it is not my screen name. So that is not my car.

What is wrong with the edges of the sign?
I took these pictures with my digital camera and the size my camera made it was a 1360 by 1250 pixel. The mbworld.org forum thing said I can't have anything over 800 by 600 pixel, so I had to resize it to that size.

Thanks for your responses, I really take good care of this car. I hand wash it every Friday because it is black and the dust thing, but it is sure worth it. I got microfiber towels (heard there are the best), I got a chamois too, which I heard was second best. I don't let anyone drine the car or sit in the drivers seat (my dad agreed and my mom doesn't even want to think about driving the car) I will not abuse the car and I promise I won't be a spoiled b***h brat showing off stupid 17 y/o kid.

Congrats on your new car. So what if you don't know what a title is (because it probably is in your parent's name) and so what if you are 17 and driving an exquisite vehicle? Don't listen to the Haters in the forum. Just enjoy it and feel lucky to be in a position to be able to have what you do.

Is it who's name is on the car. Like when you buy it, you have to give ur driver license and put a name(a person's name) on the car.

The title is the legal document of ownership issued by the state. You receive it if you are the person who bought and registered the car plus there is no money owed (financing) on the car, as in the saying "I have a free and clear title".

I know people who have 2000 miles on their car and still have the dealerships name in the license plate frame. DMV just sent me my pink slip, you know it does take a while for it to come. How stupid do you have to be, oh and to make you feel even more stupid, look at the picture with the wheel showing the computer screen between the speedometer and the rpm meter. Ya it says 705 miles on it! Wow, how do you feel?

"That computer screen between the speedometer and the rpm GUAGE".....It's called an ODOMETER.....And that pink slip you say you just recieved in the mail That's the "TITLE" earlier you had some questions about what a "TITLE" was.
I'm not saying it's not possible that some parents could, would, or did buy you this car, It's just pathetic if they really did! You don't KNOW EVEN THE MOST BASIC INFO You probably don't even know where the dipstick or oil filler cap is, but that's allright we all had to learn from someone.
Thing is, it's just very hard to believe your parents would buy you such a fine automobile, with you having hardly any rudimentary knowledge of cars.
Oh well it's only money I guess and from the looks of that house, if it's really your parents they've got plenty to burn.....on a spoiled kid...

The dip stick is to check how much oil is in the engine, only mobile oil goes into my engine, and the oil filler cap is over the engine or in my case infront on the right side to put the oil in the engine.

Are you for real, I can't believe you challanged my knowledge on that. I took automotive class in my freshmen year of highschool, it was only for 10 weeks though, just basic stuff. So really you should have asked me the conversion formula of torque and horsepower.

FYI, the SLK55 does NOT have an oil-check dipstick like most cars. Even the more modern 4-valve/cylinder 350 engine has one. So with the 55, you check oil electronically through the multifunction display and not the good ole' fashioned way. I didn't believe it at first when the owner's manual said so but I looked everywhere under the hood and sure enough.... no oil dipstick.

I'm really not trying to put you down It's just not every day that we hear about a 17 year old kid owning a $70k-$80k high speed luxury car it's pretty ridiculous actually.
And judging buy your answers you pretty much prove my points, BTW it's Mobile1 synthetic only, Mobile makes quite a few varities.

It boils down to this, A kid your age doesn't have the maturity, and especially the driving experience needed to handle a performance vehicle like this, That's why you're getting most of these type of responses It's impossible to believe any level headed parent would buy a car like this for you.
That's why INSURANCE RATES are so high for young MALE DRIVERS 18-25 YR OLDS HAVE THE MOST RECKLESS ACCIDENTS...Just end this CRAP! and admit it's your dads latest toy, that he might let you drive WHILE HE'S IN IT WITH YOU. End of story.....
