Oh and the sound of the 350 is so much sweeter due to the new tech. 55 is a low grumble which turns into a roar at about 120k/60mph BUT the 350 roars at about 30mph much better for quick blatts down the street.

If your SLK350 doesn't make you happy then you have to ask yourself why? I doubt putting an AMG badge will really make you feel that much better.

Nothing stings a wanna-be more than faking a better car and losing on the real value at the same time.
Some people buy S500 and totally badge it up to S600 .... how sad is that.

seriously..who gives a rats *** what they do to there car,were all grown ups here talking like little spoiled kids,,i can care less if someone does that to there car,its there car,to each his own,,you guys who have the slk55 act like you have the ultimate car,,the slk55 is peice of crap compared to the SL55,id maybe understand if you had a car that no one else has like an aston martin etc. but come on now,,i cant believe how you guys react to this,you guys act as if someone stole 100k from you,grow up,its just a freakin car,and yes anyone who does that looks stupid,im with you guys on that,but im not gonna start calling people *******,poser etc..hell in laguna beach over the summer,i saw some dooshbag with an s65...thats twice as bad,he had the amg on the trunk and everything,,you can tell it was an s430 or s500 at best,looked pretty stupid,but if it makes him feel happy,who cares

It's more than twice the price, so obviously it's a better car. It's not twice as good, though.What other obvious revelations do you have? Is an E55 better than a C320 maybe?

ive driven both the slk55 and sl55,...sl55 is way funner to drive than the slk55..im not even comfortable in the slk at all..its just too dam small..MB should of made it 5 inches longer..than it would kick way more *** than it does now..but now its whatever to me..yes its really fast..but still too small im gonna put amg badges all over my e500 and post pics of it so everyone will throw a hissy fit

Saw an E320 today (single exhaust) without an AMG body kit...he had debadged the E320 emblem and poorly ( it was crooked) placed an AMG badge where the E320 should go. I dont care what anybody else thinks this guy was a poser. Wolf
