6000 miles and first oil change
passed 6k miles to day and had the oil changed. I could'nt hold out to 10000. that seemed like child neglect to me. I could not let my baby go that long. $134.33 for just an oil change, ouch. I felt like they could have at least bought me lunch for that kind of a screwing. lol.

Krovvy, any explanation from the dealer regarding the cost? Certainly a big part of it the cost of the oil. The capacity is 8.5 quarts, and they are probably charging you something in the range of $10.00 per quart. (Of course you could buy it for about $5.00 per quart or less at places such as AutoZone and Pep Boys)

$50 something for the oil, $50 something for the labor, I think 18 for the filter. I could get the exact numbers from the invoice in the car but I would have to put my pants on.
