COMAND System does not have "Connect Dev." app!!

COMAND System does not have "Connect Dev." app!!
Hi there, greeting from Toronto!
I wonder if this has happened to anybody before? I have a SLK350 (2012) paired with my IPhone 6, but for some reason it got "unpaired" two days ago.
I've followed the attached instructions, which are the same as all those YouTube vids out there that show how to connect your IPhone with your Benz. But then I noticed that my Phone menu does not have the option to "Connect Dev." on the lower left corner!!...I only see the "txt Msg" and "call Lists" options both grayed out. I'm positive it had to be there before (?) as I was using my phone until very recently.
However, I was successful at pairing my IPhone to my car it under the Audio menu. I matched the 6-digit pass code code, and I can listen to the songs I have on ITunes. My IPhone shows that is connected to "MB Bluetooth" device, but still, cannot use it to make or receive calls.
I haven't upgraded my phone IOS, nor connected my car to any other Bluetooth devices. Any ideas on how to get that "Connect Dev" option back?
