Gents,
Anyone know if some of the Air Intakes, such as Burger Tuning or MST Performance, both of which state they fit 2015+ C43AMG Engines, fit on a 2017 SLC43? The are the same engine, but I am not convinced. The rep at Burger (and their website) say yes, but the rep at MST Performance was less than helpful.

@zingonads We have a new intake coming out in July that pulls air from the front of the car where its more dense and cold and provides a slight ram air effect.
This unlike what is currently out there that sits right above the hottest part of your engine (the turbos).
PM me and we can give you details, we are looking for testers for the slc43 model. Release date is JULY.

I have an MST intake installed. They (MST or any of the US distributors) were not sure if it even fit my 2017 SLC43 AMG, but it did. I even offered to send them the pictures and help them with instructions as the Version 2 I purchased and installed didn't even have instructions yet! Yea, no kidding. MST were kind of A-Holes and didn't seem to give a SH#T. Their loss.
To your point, I would be interested to if the price was reasonable, as again, I just installed the MST V.2 kit in early May. That being said, I know what I am doing as a Engineer (EE and Nuclear), could document the whole process for you, and help develop and refine any install instructions. You would also get a comparison between your kit and the ONLY kit that fits my car! Let me know what you think, I would love to see what you have!

email us at logosengineering@yahoo.com, we are going to send an email blast with prototype pics for the c43. We can work with you with modifying the intake elbow length and heat shields for the shorter slc 43 nose and hood.
