Heaters not warm

2013 slk 250 and 2009 s class 320cdi
Heaters not warm
Hi all. My heaters seem to no longer get warm in the cabin? I've been told it's maybe the aux battery? I don't use it much so I'm not sure if the battery needs changing. If so, do I need a specific battery or will any do? Thanks rob

Why not just take the car to a repair shop to get checked out and properly diagnosed, that way you can know what it needs and how much to fix and then decide what to do.
