So Mr. Deutsch what is it you do for a living? I own & drive several MB vehicles. I love them but I also sell them. If you see a post under my name why dont you just pass it over. It is not my intentions to annoy you, so in the future just pass mine over. There are plenty of posts I dont care for so I dont enter on those subjects.

Just an observation and im not siding with anybody, but Girliebenz could be just a layperson who flips cars, couldnt she/he? Maybe the SLR is being sold on consignment at the dealership? How is Girliebenz different from MarcusBenz? Does MarcusBenz pay to advertise his cars for sale?

hi, just lurking on this particular board today and i know the thread is a month old, but fwiw the pic linked to the ebay auction looks like helms bros. in queens ny, in addition location of seller says bayside ny which is where they are.
i draw two possible conclusions here,
A: the auction and girliebenz are complete scammers using stolen photo.
or B: dealer salesman is the seller and he/she is an idiot.
(i suspect "B")
i went there looking for e430 (sport in tectite) about 6 months ago from a pic in cars.com, and the car was gone at the time. the ad is STILL in cars.com
either way if anyone on the board knows helms mgmt maybe they should let them know what was going on here..
whatever.

wow GIRLEBENZ was banned for no reason. The arrogance of some of you. I don't think she said she sells cars for a living, she said she drives and sells HER/HIS own cars.

I have sold the last two for 725 & 750 so the market is there if I wait long enough. The strongest offer as of yet is 495,000.
I do see your point but it's the nature of the game. I listen to the powers that be. What about the customers that spend all day with a salesperson and go from dealer to dealer to save six bucks. Salespeople dont make the money, the owners do. Anyhoot it's a hotttttttt car.
It's been a long time since this was posted, so I can imagine that the price is lowered now. I also called as the admin. assistant of a investment ceo. So I can assume the price was hgher given the circumstances. Plus,....they called me a short time ago willing to buy one of my cars at Msrp. Does not matter because I moved to Chrysler because I actually like their cars better. Weird huh?
actually I made 115,000 working for chrysler last year. Working for mercedes sucks. No one can really afford the cars. Everyone comes in like a big shot in front of their friends and then cannot afford their payments. It's actually very funny to see a persons reaction. Too many people living big dreams. And to reply to Mr. smarty pants I said I have a warehouse full of cars........not SLR's. Who would have a warehouse full of SLR's?????? I locate cars for customers that are hard to find. I can get a 95 Porsche 968 or a 2005 Ford GT. Whatever. I own a Cl55 personally and love the car but its not driven on a daily basis. I would not pay 455,000 for an SLr myself but it would be nice to sell.
