SLR/C199/R199/Z199: Took a SLR for a test ride!
To those who think it is irrelevant compared to a SL55/65 need to drive and compare.
Its party piece is its driveability on the limit on track where it is very neutral.
But then I am biased
I was up in Boardman, Canfield, Poland Ohio during the first week of July and I saw a red F430 at the intersection of S. Raccoon Road and 224. So I'm guessing that might have been you.
None the less, nice collection.
If you read the whole thread, you will see that Mag manages property and drilling operations. Obviously, he has more than one property that he owns.
So maybe this house that you don't like is just one of them, where it's convenient to bring the cars over and take pictures?
One word Mag......Koenigsegg
You represent for all us 'mature drivers'.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
None the less, nice collection.
You guys will love this story!
Back in 1998, I bought Eddie (Jr.) DeBartolo's house in Canfield, Ohio. Eddie was the owner of the San Francisco 49ers Football team until he got into some legal trouble and had to divest himself of the team. His sister and her husband took over the team.
Absolutely beautiful house. 21,000 sq. ft.! 8 garages. 4 steam heated (kept the air humid for his Rolls and Ferrari I was told) and 4 Resnor heated. Rooms and more rooms everywhere and a tennis court. Bordered a Country Club.
I lived there 1 month (with my ex - we tried to make it work again..... didn't work out)! One day, one of my 4 dogs passed away. I felt it was a kind of omen to get out of there so we moved back to our previous home (4500 sq. ft.). We were a lot happier!
It was kind of a humorous incident in the community circle about how the guy who bought the 'DeBartlo' house moved out because one of his dogs passed away. Unless you know me personally, people wouldn't understand my love for animals.
I now live in another house down the street from the house we moved back to. My girlfriend and I share our 45 acres in our 4300 sq. ft. home with Deer, Wild Turkeys, Raccoons, Mallard ducks, Wood ducks, Opossum, Red Foxes, I think I have a digital picture of a Coyote, Blue Heron, Gound Hogs and I even had a Black Bear Cub
(2001) who got lost and wound up in my backyard 50 ft. away from me (have video to prove it)!Big houses are fine if you into that..... I'm not and really didn't know until I tried it. It wasn't a good idea for me. Took me 2 years to sell it by the way!
I love the land I now live on and walking it with my 5 dogs and not having neighbors crawling up my butt!
I'd rather spend my money on cars and own a smaller cozier home to live in. Magwheel

Ever consider a Koenigsegg CCR or CCX? They can do a quarter mile in less than 10 seconds!

Ahhhh...... somehow you've lost me in what you mean. Mags
Props as always Mag.
I wasn't a full fledged 'Hippie' but just kinda a halfway... half-*** 'Hippie'. You know.. the clothes, the hair, the hangouts, the talk and I even smoked some marijuana for a whole 3 or 4 months back in the Fall of 1970.I just thought the license plate would bring back some memories for people my age and would hopefully have them and other people laughing with me remembering the past! the Mags
