Almost all business owners. In fact any car about 100K is almost strictly business owner OR very high position in some company. Athletes and Celebs go without saying. Bottom line, they don't have jobs, they give jobs.

CEO, CFO, Investment Bankers, Professional Sports, Entertainment, Movie Producers, Movie Directors, ... there's plenty of industries or career paths to land you an SLR, not just people who sit on beaches all day, there are business people who still work in you big Financial Firms who can afford/buy these cars.

Whay would you want a 600, 55 and 65 of the exact same model? It makes no sense. I mean the 65 *goes* the best and the 55 *sounds* the best but the 600 seems kind of redundant in the threesome and I'd sooner have 3 totally different models (65, Ford GT and 997TT) if I had that kind of money and didn't have kids stopping me buying two-seaters.

Well lets see every MB dealership in south florida owns one so MB car dealer owners. You want a good deal on one buy it in Miami, FL. they will fight for your business. It will have to be silver thats the only color I've seen at the dealerships.
