I am sure he means the engine swap. No one has dropped in a 55K in an SLK (that I heard of) and the SLR motor needs more clearance due to the top-mount cooling system. The SLK is a good deal smaller than the SL, so he was probably surprised that it could be retrofitted into an R171 body.

This car is as real as it gets.. He does have another project...A C32 with a Turbocharger + the factory Kompressor!
He has alot of projects!!! Well, he has a garage =P..So, you could get your SLK into a tiny SLR beast!!
