No, it hasn't been sold. I just checked ebay. And honestly I don't know who in their right mind would actually buy that burnt pos. Doesn't look like anything worth a damn can be salvaged. For the 40gs they want for it, I'd rather go buy a used RS4 or another E55. What a rip off...

These pics were taken at a towing yard close to my job. Apparently the car caught fire after an oil leak and went up in flames quickly. Apparently the resin used to hold the Carbon Fiber together made it burn really fast. Almost brought a tear to my eye. The owner supposedly has an SLR 722 edition also.

The car is long gone...i did try to get the engine yanked but Benz came and pulled the car quickly. I clearly remember the engine in perfect shape besides the soot all over it. Oh well...
