I just picked up copy of Automobile and they had an awsome write up of the SLR roadtest in Africa. Sweet pictures too...I'll see if I have time to scan it in.

Thanks for the link!!!The SLR is an awesome car and I think any negativity from reviewers(especially from the U.K) stems from the fact that they find it hard to believe that MB can actually make a true sports car-I heard the SLR has the same lap times as the Porsche Carrera GT on the Nurburgring in the dry but completely demolishes it in the wet!
