I'm not a rap fan and not a Ludacris fan, but I have to give props to the man for being in position to be able to not only test drive but purchase this awesome vehicle! Hey, what he does is legal and he must be good at it if there's so much demand for his product. Besides, look what he gets to drive!

if the mclaren cost $70g', luda wouldn't even give it a second look. its all about image for these guys they could care less what a car is really about. plus guys who are we kidding here, he was in 2 fast 2 furious. that should say it all. He prob thought it was one of those fixed up hondas
............Don't you think you are being a bit harsh? I imagine that most us will like the opportunity to drive an SLR, so he is not different in that regard. Also the guy is an entertainer, image is everything.........so even if he did it purely for the image, he is still justified. However, I suspect judging from the smile on his face that he truly enjoyed the experience as I or you would.

I don't see what all the hating is about... he's a boy with a toy and 90% of the people here that know anything about the SLR would either a) do the same thing or b) be affraid of even driving the car.
I know I for one would be split between "jumping with glee" and looking around for the nearest stretch of road...
And if I had money like him, I'd probably not only sit on the hood, I'd probably kick the door, then look at the camera and say "see that? that's $50k worth of damage I just did... I spend that much in breakfast every day."
Then I'd get in my other SLR and drive off into the sunset.
