SLS AMG real LA price
I ordered a silver SLS with red interior about 6 months ago and it will be here on Friday. I am hearing rumors that when I go to buy the car, they will want an extra 25k minimum as a premium. is this true? They never said anything. I know the car is a good value, but tossing 25k to the wind is not really my style. Thoughts?

Unless you have a contract with a specific price, they can charge whatever they want.

If they try to upsell you, then let them eat the car and get another one somewhere else. There are a few SLSs around the country at other dealerships who will be happy to earn your business.

As part of standard practice, I would assume all MB dealers provide a pro-forma invoice after the order is finalized.

I spoke with our MB dealer here in Indianapolis regarding SLS sales contracts. They are not playing the "up-charge" game. they stick to MSRP and will not charge a premium above that. Hopefully, most MB dealers have the same level of integrity.

I am hearing same thing from several friends across the country....no premium on these cars....Mercedes Buckhead sold it at list as did Fletcher Jones Newport Beach...go to another dealer...
