Has M-B stopped production on the SLS gull-wing?
I had dinner last night with my Italian friend who told me that that M-B has ceased production on the SLS gull-wing.
I insinuated that it must be temporary due to the SLS convertible production, whereas he scoffed and said no, that he was in Germany last week checking on the restoration of one of his 300SL's and he heard it as fact from reliable sources![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Anyone heard this?

No, they're being produced as needed. Dealers I've talked to had a first week of Sept. Roadster, a third week of Sept. coupe, and a second week of October Roadster, etc. I believe they just build them as they're ordered.
