Suggestions for speciality insurance?
Just got my allocation for a mid-Feb 2012 build. Researching insurance. My current policy holder (Geico) won't cover a SLS. No tickets, no accidents. Any recommendations?

Auto insurace coverage for >$150K value
I conducted a similar search last year because I knew that Progressive wouldn't provide coverage for auto with MSRP more than their $150K limit. I was annoyed since they provided good service and my $125K SL55 had been covered by them since 2004. Same was true for AllState who were my homeowners provider.
It seems this collision limit has been adopted by many auto insurers and has nothing to do with your driving record. The limit is somewhat perplexing to me given large number of regular production autos available in US that exceed this value which I don't think is inflation adjusted.
Switched homeowners to StateFarm and no problem getting coverage for SLS for reasonable premium even though I indicated somewhat high mileage for annual usage; I qualified for multi-car, multi-line, and good driver discounts. Also, earlier this year my AllState said that he could now write coverage due to increased collision limit if I kept my homeowners policy with them. AFAIK Travelers doesn't cover autos costing more than $150K.
