I am an SLS owner you must offer this up grade to all existing owners
If you don't the after market tuners will!!
Also stop producing this model & make in exclusive, your having to discount them now to sell them, I've lost £80k in 18months with my car!! these are not Fords there AMG's!!!! I'm in the UK & pissed off

I have a tuner friend here in the UK who can up grade the SLS to the 2013 model spec!
He travels the Globe doing remaps on Mercedes, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW.

Guy that advertises here his vinyl wrapping business is really overdoing it.
He posts his ad on all threads EVERY freaking day.
When you open the Forum to see what's new is posted in threads you are interested in,all you see is "Nguyen vinyl....etc".
It's no longer an ad,it is a real nuisance damaging this Forum....

I am an SLS Owner too and I bought my SLS only 2 month ago and just found out about the GT version, and I will be very pissed if the news software upgrades are not applied to the current model, and I do agree with you they need to slow down on the production of this car or it will lose value QUICK!!!!

Agree the depreciation will become exponentially quick now.....as with the 65...
SLS coupe is already selling in the 160's for a 2011 model with less than 10K miles, have seen about half a dozen in that range.........once I am done with my SL 65 which I bought in the 60K range at 4 years old - originally $195K.......... on to a 4 year old low miles SLS in a few years......
They have made just as SLS cars as R230 SL 65s, if not more, in the first two years of production.....so much for exclusivity.....
Cars are a depreciating asset for enjoyment........

In the mercedes range I've had SL55, 2 SL65's, ML amg, CL65, SLS.

I just love all these worry warts on the subject of depreciation. This car will not depreciate any quicker than any other AMG out there and my bet is it will hold it's value for years to come. People also worried that the announcement of the roadster would devalue the coupe but it has had limited effect.
And as for exclusivity, my SLS is still just about the only SLS I've seen in the wild and people are still dumbstruck when they see the car.

Agree SLS will depreciate like other AMGs.........nothing to worry about though........just enjoy the heck out of it!! I am!!
