Ladies and Gents, beware of this scam. The SLS tranny won't handle more than 750hp. Brabus built two bi-turbo SLS's when they first came out and they had to discontinue them, because the tranny simply wouldn't handle it.

World Motorsports's SLS had and is still having many tuning issues. They even reached out to Weistec last year to try to get the tuning sorted out.
Don't take it from me. Let the results speak for themselves. So they are claiming 850hp for the SLS. If that is true and since they took their car to the drag strip, it shouldn't elapse above 10 seconds and it shouldn't trap less than 145mph.
They are going to sell this system for nearly 50k. God knows why,lol. For that price, I would expect at least to see some results and some power figures instead of some BS claims.

Where did world come from? Never heard of them locally. Are they old employees from EvoSport or something?

They have been around for a while but they were the factory backed race team for Toyota and the used to manufacture parts for Toyota vehicles. They are pretty much located on Toyotas campus or they are the first building next to Toyota.

They hired another ex-Toyota sponsored driver from the East Coast and he is the one that made the change to Mercedes vehicles. He had been working with European vehicles after he stopped racing for Toyota.

Are you talking crank or whp in your post? I think OP is claiming 850 hp at the crank, at leas that is te way I undestand his posts and if that is the case the SLS trans can easily handle 850 crank hp. 740 whp and 700tq is about the ceiling for the stock clutch packs. My SLS BS is making over 850 crank hp and the clutch packs are identical to those in a run of the mill SLS. If OP is claiming 850whp then I would have to agree with you that he is full of crap, but like I said I believe he is talking crank therefore I would have to back up his claims.

Nope, DCT in the SLS's is the weak link. 740whp is max load the stock clutch packs can handle. Weistec is developing some heavy duty clutch packs as we speak. As soon as they are tested and proven a set will be going in my stage 3 SLS BS and I will boost it up to about 900whp, until then I am on hold at a measly 725whp with the pulley I am currently running.

Truth be told the SLS has the weakest tranny of all three of my BS's, weakest in terms of load but by far the best tranny in terms of performance.

We are testing a new cam package that seems to work really well with the car. We also changed up some of the plumbing recently and how the EVAP system was and we have managed to really increase the response of the turbo system. We also did a redesign on the header and I would expect to be back on the dyno within the month.

Right now the car is much more responsive and we are easily making a lot more power but we also need to work out the clutch as we have easily surpassed it's strength with what we have done to it so far.

I saw this car at Eurotopia a few months back and while i don't know it's actual stats Chris (the owner) said it was putting out just under 900 crank and around 730 to the wheels but they had some problems with one of the components handling the power and were working on beefing it up but i don't remember what the component was

Also the car apparently was stalling out in the bends so i'm not sure how it's improved since then but once all the kinks are worked out it should be a beastly car, can't wait to see the end result

That wing needs to go though...

I actually took a few pictures of it at the meet along with 2 E63s they brought out as well:

We bought some new equipment to start making some of these components ourselves and it should be arriving in the next 30 days. As soon as we get up to speed on using it, we will start fitting ion some of these new parts and we should be able to deliver over 1000 wheel horsepower once the transmission is up to speed.

My Weistec supercharged SLS BS is at Weistec as we speak. I believe this tt SLS is owned by someone in Orange County, I am down for a friendly race, just say the word.

I just flew into Monterey tonight, headed to Laguna Seca. I have Skip Barber Pro Race School for the next three days and then I am running my SLS in the USCA race at Laguna Seca next weekend, headed back down to OC Sunday night. I will be around thru the middle of next week(possibly longer), I would not mind heading up to LA, maybe do some Mulholland runs with the SLS's
