SLS/R197/C197 AMG: My SLS at Daytona's Rolex course
The HPDE is April tenth and eleventh if anyone is interested in joining me, here's the link. http://flatoutmotorsports.us/#all
It's $750 for two days. Five hundred for one day. I signed up for two.
It's time to get some respect from the Porsche and Audi R8 owners.
Here's my old Corvette in the wet at daytona two years ago.

I entered Daytona into the race section of the AMG media. Lots of cool features and performance statistics there.
One fellow didn't enjoy his day as much. He had a Ford GT, You know, like a GT40. He hit a guard rail. Damage to both the rear and front. Poor thing looked like it was totaled. A guy in front of me went off and hit the tire wall.
Trying to stay safe,

The car was mostly free of buffeting and wind noise at 140 mph above that I didn't pay much attention. I was too busy holding on. I did get it up to 155 mph.
I've been doing track days for six years now. Both at Daytona and Roebling Road West of Savannah. This was the biggest crowd I ever saw. They had over a hundred cars. Yet everything worked flawlessly Well, except for a few delays trucking cars back to the paddock area.
BTW, the best part, this was a charity event. Here's a link to the group I drove with. There were a few other groups. The largest was the Ferrari contingent. I believe they call them selves the Patosi.

I took a video but no photos to share. Sorry
