My SLS Vs my E63 Wagon 1/4 Mile
Hey guys,
Today I went to a great Drag event at PBIR with my E63 Wagon and SLS. My wife piloted the E63 while I drove the SLS, we both ran in race start. Both times I felt were pretty strong. Ignore the reaction times, she was having trouble with RS and I was walking her through it over the bluetooth, lol.
The E63 is completely stock, the SLS has a tune.

I was pretty shocked by the E's time, its a VERY heavy wagon and just doesn't seem that quick, I was guessing low 12's

Haha, I can totally relate with the bouts of screaming in our family hauler. That e wagon is a pretty serious car, I always had a soft spot for that car. I remember attending seven different AMG driving academy in the past and they would always bring an E 63 wagon. At the end of the day when the drivers were asked which car impressed the most, besides the obvious answer of the SLS , I would say about 80% would rate the e wagon as the next best thing. Remember, they had every variation of AMG there, C, E, S, ML, SL etc.
