Anyone familiar with this SLS?
The price seems decent for the options vs. high(ish) miles. The only really negatives are the door straps & the somewhat sloppy install on the Passport controller (bad stitch job); both of which could be replaced.
Before I spring for the Auto check, does anyone know the history? 30 records sounds like there are some negatives hiding in there, but I know it's not always the case. The miles don't really scare me, as I'd probably only put 2-3k a year on it due to my traveling schedule.

Any thoughts?

FWIW, the Ad does state it has a clean CarFax. Give the dealer a call and ask them to email you the CarFax and Autocheck. If there's nothing to hide, they should do that without hesitation. I checked the dealer website and they seem to have a number of high mile SLS (coupe and roadster).
Red SLS are harder to sell...just not as popular for whatever reason. That could also explain the lower asking price.

Agreed that red Mercedes Benz product is much harder to sell or usually sells at a lower price point. I do know that this car recently sold at a Portland auto auction. Here is the dealer that was trying to sell it recently:

Definitely has some cosmetic issues. Throw a white wrap on it, sell the CF engine covers for a tidy sum and drive the wheels off of it.

Dibs on the CF engine compartment cover if you buy the car and want to sell the covers.

Thanks for the input! I figured someone here would have seen it before. With the close up pics from 503, it doesn't look like quite the same deal as on ebay (no real surprise). I'm not truly dying to get into just any SLS, as it's a tradeoff between wanting the newer technology/performance, vice what the SLS brings to the table; cool iconic design, great engine & of course the gullwings. I have little doubt that an SLS bought right today will certainly hold it's value well.
If I was in the country now, I'd probably check it out in person, but I'll hold off. The option package is what really interested me, as I'd ultimately prefer a black or white car.
Thanks again!

Did you see this one? Only missing 3 option (car cover, ride control, carbon ceramic brakes). I have no affiliation with this car....just saw it on eBay.
