AMG Track Pace

Anyone have the AMG Track Pace on their SLS? I’m looking for an SLS Coupe that I’m going to drive fairly often (so if you know of one for sale please let me know &#128526 and was wondering if the Track Pace is something worthwhile... also, for those of you who have the adaptive suspension, how often do you use it? Is that a worthwhile option, or just go without? I’m happy to be back on the site after a few years off....

On my sticker (2012) it's option 255 AMG Performance Media in later years it became "known" as the Track Pace. You use it a bunch when you get the car but after time it's just another "toy". I like using it to adjust/look at my tire pressures. The 479 AMG Adaptive Suspension is an option you won't see on many cars at all (2012 only) It's 3 settings which I do use a Bunch depending on road conditions. 2013-2015 only have a 2 setting suspension. (Hard and harder...ha) They made the GT more track focused. 2011- 12 did have an option 486 AMG Performance Suspension System (non - adjustable)

Code 486 - AMG Performance Suspension
Stiffer steel springs and shock absorbers for enhanced dynamic capability in high-performance driving situation.
(Important Note: The AMG Performance Suspension features stiffer springs and shock absorbers which can have
an impact on ride quality/compliance. This option is not recommended for customers who do not favor a very stiff
ride with limited rebound and compression characteristics.)

479 AMG Adaptive Suspension uses electronically controlled dampers with three settings: Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus. According to AMG, "electromagnetically actuated valves in the shock absorbers control the oil flow between the lower and upper chamber" depending on road conditions and selected mode.

2013-2015 Suspension:
A stiffer version of the AMG Adaptive Performance Suspension has more aggressive spring/damper tuning than before. Mercedes says that the suspension system -- with Sport and Sport plus settings -- minimizes body roll and will allow for faster lap times, especially in Sport plus mode, which is optimized for level road surfaces such as those of a race track.
