SLS/R197/C197 AMG: SLS not starting
#26
Wondering if anyone out there would have experienced a similar problem or have a suggestion to my problem.
Took SLS for airbag warranty, when I got it back a few days later I noticed all the warning lights on the dash came on and it was difficult for it to even start. At this point we thought there was something wrong with the box that is next to the battery so took it out and replaced. Still had some issues so replaced the battery, all was good until the battery was dead a weeks later now the car does not start and dash sometimes lights up and tach and other gauges will flicker and that's all it will do no start or anything. Checked battery again and it charged up and is fine. It seems like something might be draining the battery like the push start button because I will see it glowing red even after I lock the car.

I actually have an additional update because I had to take it back because it was having the same issues and just got it back yesterday. Mercedes said that there was water corrosion at the plugs located near the trunk area. When I find the receipt I will show you the different things listed.

@Lbsilio
This is the second time I had to go back and was told that they didn't go far enough back and needed another wiring harness. So they ordered one and just charged for the part because I felt like they didn't repair it properly the first time.
The ESP control unit was shorting, so the hydraulic unit, brake fluid was changed out.
PART NUMBERS
Hydraulic Unit: 197-431-13-12
Brake Fluid: 000-989-08-07-01
Electrical Wiring Harness: 197-540-84-05
