I have been following a recent auction on Bring A Trailer for a SLS. One of the comments mentions that the author had been curating a count for SLS’s produced by model year in the USA. Here is the post:
Does anyone have any thoughts as to the accuracy of the numbers listed in the post. They seem about right to me, but I was wondering if anyone else had any feedback.

this is false. The true number imported into the USA was 2,734 and was released by an AMG executive in the AMG Private Lounge and Wikipedia many years ago.
In defense of the gentleman (on Bat) that posted his numbers… that is what he has curated since he has been following the SLS market and … as he said he is more interested in the Gullwing. (not all of us want those silly doors)
Please use the search engine @ericisback as I think I have posted everything through the years that is publicly available as far as hard facts. There are NO official numbers as to how many were painted in certain colors or certain options … if any one quotes anything..it is simply speculation (to their own resale benefit)… not facts.
