smart crossblade information & specs.

Information
Exterior
Plastic body panels come in gloss black finish, contrasting with the matt titanium grey powder-coated finish of the Tridion.
Crossblade has double elliptical front headlamps like the cabrio.
The exhaust system ends in twin exhaust pipes, which protrude from the centre of the rear apron.
Interior
Polished metal and titanium grey trims predominate inside the vehicle.
Seat upholstery consists of a rubber lined fabric in a fiery red colour, and is unsusceptible to the effects of moisture.
Side safety bars, steering wheel rim and gear change knob all have leather coverings.
A transparent windshield, similar to the visor on a helmet is fitted over the ****pit area.
Carpeting inside the open top sports car is done away with all together. The bare metal of the floor and the aluminium pedals are provided with an anti slip covering, such as that featured on a skateboard.
2 self-contained instruments reveal speed, revs per minute and temperature. They also display functions for indicators gear changing and fuel level. There is a luggage compartment behind the seats, with a capacity of 150 litres for small items of luggage.
Statistics
Vital Statistics of this sporty two seater are a modest 2590mm in length, 1550mm in width and 1450mm in height.
3 Cylinder turbo engine mounted in front of the rear axle supplies 45KW of output power at a maximum torque of 88 Newton metres. The 185/45R 15 tyres are fitted to 7inch wide aluminium wheels in 3 spoke design.
Safety Features
Tridion is reinforced with numerous high strength bracing plates and features robust aluminium side safety bars instead of doors. The chassis incorporates high strength steel braces in the area of the flooring and in the A and B pillars. Diagonal struts under the floor lend the structure torsional rigidity.
Robust seats with sheer metal shells are equipped with a retention system, with belt force limiters and belt tighteners. The crossblade features both passenger and driver full size airbags.

I have seen a few crossblades. Whenever I see one I wonder about the windshield. It is damn small, how can it protect you from for example small stones? It must hurt to get a stone in your forehead at 135km/h !

Really, it's a pretty silly car. I'd suggest that anyone driving one use a crash helmet with a face shield.
