I ordered a Smart Brabus tha twill be delivered march 15th in Paris, I wonder why I won't have the 17inch wheels like the Smart brabus first edition and not hte large ailes either?

Also I took the Ipod insatllation and the salesmans told me that the video Ipod 60Go will not fit in ?????
Any idea about that?

Finally I asked for back windows but the back one is in plastic so is it still possible. a apply a film on that?

My Smart has the Brabus Roadster wheels..16" fronts and 17" rears
You will need the Brabus Widestar rear fenders to cover the wide rear wheels

Yes the rear side windows are plastic .. Yes Mine ARE tinted..so far so good!

 

Correction Mark. The wheels you have on your smart are specifically made for fortwo. The Brabus roadster has 17" on all 4, just slightly wider in the back. The fortwo Brabus 101 has the 16/17 staggered setup like ours.

Yes G/K and Zap are selling the Smart... They got the release this week...
They have Three dealers..Nevada/Florida/and a Ford Dealer in the Mid west..

The Smart for two is a great car....Fun to drive...Easy to park..


The Smarts that you have seen are MB corp smarts...They have several around NY/NJ ...look at the plates...Manufacture plates

The two I've seen didn't have manufacturer or dealer plates and thats why I was so curious. It turns out one of them belongs to a design school where they have a couple on display. When I was in MI, MB of Bloomfield Hills had a dozen of them with IL manufacturer plates.

how do they ride? what is the mpg? 0-60? how much, brabus or no brabus? i know i can research, but i want to hear from someone that actually owns the car, ya know? a radar detector, damn, must be fast! thank you in advance!

 

you drive it like a go kart but on the paper it's not fast.
You cannot calculate this car from 0to 60 but from 0 to 30mph.
to 60 is 12.4 sec not sure exactly.
gas consumption is ok I do 500 kilometers for 30 liters.
but it's funny and more than that when you drive in dowtown like Paris or Rome... you feel like your driving a motocycle as they is always spaces for you between cars...
the best is parking spot! it's like if there were always somobody saving a place for you to par as any other cars but smart car can fit in

 

Do jus drive this car in dowtown and it's rare to take it when I go out of Paris, Then I take the CLS for the highway

 

It' agressive and funny this car is like paradoxal in any sens you look at it.
Small but lots of space inside, little engine but fast, small and convertible...

I think I saw the Brabus version at the Irvine MB World gathering. Looked great! Just saw a blue one motoring down the 405 in SoCal the other day. I have toyed with getting a cabrio version, but I've been led to believe they won't be in the US. Any comments anyone?

I Made some wide rear fenders in Carbon Fiber for My Smart..fit a LOT better than the Brabus ..and No drilling...

As for Performance one can install the roadster turbo/camshaft and Injectors..and Software..for a 45HP gain..

 

The Smart that you saw is a Smart Pure with several Brabus Items added..
Rims/Exhaust/shifter w paddle shift.. More Upgrades soon!

I saw a blue one in Newport Beach today that had a 3.5 badge on the back. I`m sure someone was being a wise guy but how fast would that be? DAAANG!!!!!!! Had mfgr plates on it.

I have my second F2. First one was a 61 bhp, but after a few km he was remap, which means, elimination of speed limit and more torque....
i loved it so much, that a i bought a new one...with a Brabus motor (it will be remap to 101 bhp), wheels etc...

On the new one i did..
