I Would NOT drive that smart at that speed with the wheel tire set up...At That speed one needs all the tire one can get.Being tossed around with crosswinds/trucks etc...Maybe on a track?..I added the 16x6 and 17x8 rims with Sport springs and Bilsteins sport shocks on my smart and it handles a LOT better But at 130 it would still be Mr Toads wild ride!

Agree....not sure what sort of engineering feat they are trying to accomplish. The donor vehicle is safer/quicker/more economical/and handles better than what they ended up with. Probably just an exercise in "wouldn't this be neat" without much thought of usefulness.
