Smart Miss
We did the service that Smart Car recommended. The oil looked like molasses, even w/ under 1,000 miles on it; however, it has been in the car since 2005. After installing fresh oil and filter we took it for a ride. It was raining, and the miss got much worse...We were now able to duplicate the condition in the shop. #1 & #3 wires shorting. We left a mess. with Mr. Avo in California to send us a new wire set...our first request
...have not heard back yet. Just cant install any old wire set...i wish...Customer wants her roller skate back./
Any way, thanks for reading...thanks to rain, got situation solved, and Mr. avo's proof that it was not a sticking HLA.
Parts procurement on this vehicle is a real problem here.
