Well I don't have one yet but yes, they are only 2.5 m long, though fairly wide and tall. Mind you, the G is kinda small inside so a smart would definitely not fit.
I like the G provided it's for off-road use (the older G-Wagens are nice and basic, very efficient off-road), but the G55 AMG seems like SUV Psycho-Soccer-mom overkill to me...and none will be used off road. All that AMG power is useless off road; what you need there is nice torque at low rpms, like a TD has....never mind
