Saw Smart Convertible at El Toro Y
Yesterday (8/25/04) at approx 1800 hrs I observed a Smart black convertible (With this honking bar going from B pillar to B pillar....sorta looked like a crane could hook onto it and lift the car up off the ground) driving southbound 5 fwy exiting Bake Pkwy (Adjacent to Irvine BMW).

Did the Black Cab Have Dealer Plates?
Is This the same one as in the Parking lot that the Mrs saw?
There was a Black cab at the Micro car Show in Long Beach...
Two Weeks ago...
The Cabs are Kinda Funky with the B/C or is it just a Large B Pillar?
Since the top slides back and then down....
I Would like to see the crash Tests on a Cab...I Have Seen the
Smart coupes Tested..They hold up great!
My Smart has More Room than my Beetle..in Headroom and Legroom...
Its a Shame Mercedes wont bring it in..But Canada gets it...go figure
