2005 smart cabrio; 2008 Mercedes-Benz B 200
So what's the sale price going to be? I would expect that tacking $4500 onto a car that already costs nearly $14 K US is going to price it out of the market for 90% of the potential customers.

The cars they have in their shop are 2001 and 2002 models from the photos I've seen. That's a lot of money for an old car, which doesn't have ESP, BAS, CBC and EBD as do all post-2002 smart fortwos.

Also, some people on ZAP's mailing list are getting emails asking for help in securing parts for the smart fortwo.

Yeah, that gets my confidence level up, not!

I'm SOOO glad that Mercedes-Benz Canada is selling the 2005 models legitimately up here, with 4 year 80,000 k warranty.
