Well shut my mouth and call me Shirley...
Just a note to all non-Southerners...
When visiting the south, here are a few things to remember:
Don't be alarmed.., scattered, smothered and covered is something you eat.
If you order iced tea, it will be sweet (sweetea). If you specifically order unsweetened tea, you have a 50/50 chance it will still being sweet.
You can say anything you want (no matter how nasty) about anyone, as long as you follow it with, "bless his/her heart". Example:
"That Gloria is such a sleazy little trollop.., bless her heart".
Don't make the mistake of thinking, just because we talk slow, we're not smart. If you do, you will find yourself overpaying for everything.

Not wanting to be accused of forum misuse or whoring, I would like to add that many of us southerners like to drive Mercedes-Benz Automobiles.
