Phoenix Area Track
I am an owner of a recently acquired AMG GT. I've never tracked any car in my life, but keep hearing that owners are tracking their cars.
Can anyone from the Phoenix area fill me in on the highlights?
1. Is there a track that can be used in the metro area?
2. Is a license of any sort needed?
3. Can you do individual laps? I'd just like try try this car on a track w/o being involved in a race with other cars...at least at first.
4. I'm guessing the car needs an inspection, it's an AMG GT right out of the factory, I assume it's track ready?
5. I know a helmet is required. Are there regs for the helmet type, etc.?
