I am from LA and tend to root for LSU in spite of Les Miles. A few alumni in the family along with one current professor and one former. With that said win or loose nothing beats a good SEC match up like tonight. Alabama and Bear Bryant made Namath a household name five years before Namath did the same for the Jets in Super Bowl III. I have been an Alabama fan as long as I can remember as well.
SEC football is kind of like my 05 e55; big, heavy and built around strong defense. With 600+ ft lb TQ Friday night test n tune/grudge racing is won or lost at the line/60 foot mark. Defend that territory and game over against the more nimble top end speedsters. Same game plan for Bama Oregon national championship matchup in a couple of months.

Great Game. Bama just had a close call. I too will take lucky if it's a win...... I would have taken a win over bama which would have been lucky as well.
Some of the LSU play calling makes me wonder..... but all in all a great SEC Fall evening in death valley.
Can't wait to see bama-ATM next weekend.
