Actually, there is a sticky thread in the Off-Topic forum. Many things were removed temporarily to speed up the site.

The guys are still working on a permanent solution (I think ).

yea seriously, i'll donate like a $1 if it helps speed things up. Very annoying when i'm trying to quickly sneak on this site at work and it takes forever.
