The Classifieds Section Drives Me Batty

To Whom It May Concern,

I gave it a few months with the new classifieds section and I can't stand it. I currently check the following sections daily:

- Exterior Parts
- Interior Parts
- Parting Out
- Mobile Electronics and Lighting
- Miscellaneous

I agree that the old setup was a bit of a free-for-all and a bit chaotic. I'm just wondering if it would make sense to combine a few of the sections. The parting out section is useless. It has interior stuff, exterior stuff, anything and everything. Whats its purpose? I have to check it no matter what I'm looking for. Mobile Electronics should be considered Interior Parts, and Lighting is an Exterior part. I don't get it? My suggestion is to break it up like this:

- Vehicles
- Exterior Parts (Includes Exterior Lighting)
- Interior Parts (Including Electronics and Interior Lighting))
- Engine Performance Parts
- Wheels, Tires, Suspension and Braking
- Non-Mercedes Classifieds
- Buyer / Seller Feedback Forum

Just the way I'd do it, but as forum admin's I know you guys also have a lot more insight into this than I do.

I agree with your suggestion, although bunching the wheel/tire with suspension/braking might be a bit too jumbled.

This seems to make sense, any one else think they can fine tune it a bit?

I also think it's a bit 'too much' right now as is

Agree with OP, but I would reduce to 3 - 4 topics max,

something like this:

New vehicles

drive/stop (engine, brakes, wheels)

Misc (interior, bodyparts, lighting, audio, etc)

Non Mercedes
