Lightbulb No CLS forum?

I think we need one, especially because dealers are already taking orders for them. According to Autospies, the CLS500 should be available in the fall.

Next fall, you'll be able to get the CLS 500 at your dealer.

We predict the car will be SO popular, it will become a waiting list car like the SL and other limited edition MB's.

We also predict you'll see an AMG version (CLS55/65?) in 2006.

But unfortunately, you won't see a convertible version, due to structural integrity of the pillar-less body.

If you want one, we suggest you run, don't walk to your dealer and put your deposit down.

Our friends at Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach are already taking deposits. If you want to get on the list, email us at mercedes@autospies.com and we'll be sure to get it to the right people for you...

I think we wait just a little while longer and turn a thread like this into the official CLS information thread or something.

I was asked to participate in a survey MB was doing on the CLS at the LA Auto show. I basically gave the car a thumbs down and told the guy it looked too much like a mercury sable. He told me that the car would be in the $65K price range. I told him it would probably appeal more to the younger married couple looking to spend around $40-50K.
