why no regional forums?

why no regional forums?
I would love to ask MB owners in my area questions about local shops and events. Has there ever been any thought about adding regional forums? I've found them to be a great help on other enthusiast sites.

It just distributes the forum up too much.
Mercedes and BMW and certain brands along those lines have very clearly set model distinctions which makes it much easier to have them set like how we have it now at mbworld.org or how m5board.com does it.

I Agree with Vraa, i dont think they'll put up regional forums. These things usually get posted on the Events & Gatherings page. There are a few of us though who are planning some meets to take pics, talk, etc with fellow enthusiasts in the coming weeks. let you know!

The problem that I have seen with regional forums on other boards is that too much information, that could pertain to others, is lost when posted in a specific forum that many may not read due to their geographical location.
