Homepage, where!? Ah, stiggs, did your mother not tell you to play jokes on people- I mean, in order to update a homepage, we would need to have one. I think.

Holy Crap, an Admin answered my thread. I feel like this is how democracy is suppost to work......either that or I have to take a dump. Sometimes the two feelings get mixed.

Not just "an Admin" but THE Admin, aka he-who-owns-the-forum, he-whose-decisions-are-final, he-who-needs-not-consult-with-anyone-else-prior-to-making-aforementioned-decisions, he-who-pays-the-bill (and all bills), he-who-pays-for-this-not-profitable-forum-of-ours-to-exist, he-who-created/founded-said-forum.

Joe - you kill me! Always bring a smile. What's up man, long time!

Ricky - I am discussing your offer with Simon. We have a full time programmer on staff now for evosport.com and mbworld.org, so regardless, things are happening.

All - We really do want to update the site. Over the last year though, we have focused on the back-end. We have a new box, and are going to an even faster more powerful more hack-proof box in the next month.

We will be releasing some cool additions, and the front page update will be part of that.

Thanks,
Brad

LOL! What do you want to add?

What I had in mind to mbWorld's homepage was turning it into the vBull portal. Most of it would be automatic dynamic content generated by the forum itself.

Why should everything be current

Perhaps the idea behind the decision to never update the mbworld.org homepage is that, in this fast-moving world of increasingly more capable (and costly) Mercedes-Benz vehicles, it is nice to have one thing that is immutable like an old slipper.

In reality, I don't buy that one bit, so let me add my two cents and say that, while I adore this website, I would care even more for it if it was reasonably current.

How about it, Powers that Be?
