The thread started out as harmless fun from my early days. I had no idea that it would grow to 40k+ posts twice, nor did I know it would cause so many problems for some of you. But if it weren't for that thread, we probably wouldn't have been able to get to know other members of MBW as well as we do now. Click on the "replies" link and you'll see that there are a lot of regulars that post in the thread (one of which has posted against TOW in this thread, *cough*oggle*cough*).
As Poch put it, it helps to keep the post whoring away from the other threads and as Terry and Adam have stated, we really look at it like a "ghetto" chat room where we can just post whatever we're thinking/doing/eating/wearing/dreaming-about at that time and others can comment on it at their leisure.
I apologize if it causes you so much trouble to have to scroll past it but it only takes up as much room as the "Whats worst, Quitting or Cheating???" thread or any other pointless thread in the OT Forum for that matter. Please be reminded that this is the Off Topic forum for a reason, the threads may be a tad bit off.

Oh and BTW, it really doesn't matter if the TOW thread is deleted or not. The people who post in there will just create a new version of it. We are currently on version 3.0 and it is stronger than ever.
