don't bother with lowering links, the car will handle terrible. use an electronic lowering module to do it right from kleeman or carlson.

Just installed the lowering links, and the ride is a bit stiffer than oem. That's because I have it really low. I think the module is a waste of money?

My car handles better actually. I didn't slam it maybe that's why

when you go through tires every 5K and your airmatic stops working you'll understand why the cheap way of lowering the car with lowering links is not the best choice. There's a reason Kleeman, Carlson and all the major euro tuners use modules.

This is stupid? The module just tells the airmatic system to go lower via electronic control. It's not like you're replacing it with a whole new set up of suspension. If you have that kind of money to waste, more power to you. There's tons of memebers on here uses the links w/out any problems.

Yeah, pretty sure your rife height will determine ride quality and tire wear, lowering links and a module do the same exact thing just in a different way. Either one will just trick the vehicle into thinking it riding higher than it really is and thus lower it to where it thinks the normal height is,

SL55 AMG
Do they have the links for the W230 - SL55 AMG?

Where in SoCal are those guys located? I'd like to drop-by if possible...see what else they have.

Thanks!
