This set is made by Klann for SPX Tools. It is the real deal, made in Germany spring compressor, not a cheap Taiwan copy. It is identical to the Klann KL-0025 in every way except the name stamped on the side. These are brand new, never used!

This kit includes the long AND short compressor shaft with overload protection, and Size 1 Pressure Plates (for springs 95 to 130 mm diameter). The "short" shaft is required to remove the rear springs without disconnecting any suspension links, which makes it much easier to swap rear spring pads. The long shaft will not work on rear springs. Note that the standard Klann kit comes with the large & small plates but only the long shaft, in a plastic carry case. I do not have the large plates or carry case, what you see in the photo is what you get.

For reference, the equivalent Mercedes part numbers are:

202-589-01-31-00 (Spring compressor, front)
202-589-02-31-00 (Spring compressor, rear)
202-589-13-63-00 (Compression plates, 130mm)

Works with front springs on: 116, 123, 124, 129, 170, 201, 202, 208, & 210 chassis
Works with rear springs on: 124, 129, 140, 170, 201, 202, 203, 208, 209, & 210 chassis

Click here for a PDF of the Mercedes TSB with more information, the newer chassis are referenced in the last page of this document. Again, I don't have the large plates or the plastic case. To buy these from Mercedes would cost nearly $2k, and to buy the KL-0025 kit is almost $1k... get them here for half price!

$500, free shipping in USA. International shipping ok.
