W211 or C219 Carlsson air ride lowering module
Hi I traded in my 2005 E55 with airmatic suspension and had my old mechanic take out the Carlsson C-Tronic lowering module before I traded the car in.
The instructions say it is for an W-211 E-class with airmatic or will fit a CLS C219 with air suspension. I got a deal and paid $1,350 plus was told by the guy who installed it that it was a simple plug and play installation.
On my E55 the air suspension worked exactly the same after the module but in the normal level it was about 1/2" lower and this made my E55 look meaner and nasty.
Since the unit is used and I obviously can't give a warranty or fitment promise so I will take the first $600 cash buyer.
my email is 1pvan@comcast.net
note remove the 1 in email address

Update to Carlsson lowering unit
Sorry no pics:
Also want to add the following: When I ordered the Carlsson unit for my 05 E55 which was built in late 2004 the module I bought was for a pre 2005 built car. My mechanic who is now retired told me mine has plugs and connectors with simple instructions but the after 2005 units are the same but do not have any connectors only plugs. Again I just wanted to be clear as I am not a mechanic and only sharing what I was told.

lowering module for E airride
Not sure why the buyer kept stringing me along and not paying???? so my Carlsson lowering module is available again.
On ebay these $2,000 units go for $1,495 and considering that it worked great in my 05 E55 and I only had it removed because I traded the car in. Since it is electrical, out of warranty, and I don't know anything about how to put it in or take it out, I am selling it without a warranty for only $600 shipped within USA.
