might need to adjust your price bro. Especially with 40k mile rotors...they're basically shot if they're the original rotors, have you measured them to find if they're within limits?

Calipers are 40k miles, and I'll measure the rotors just for you.

oh dont do it just for me lol! I am in no way interested since i already own them...im just saying that 40k miles is a decent amount for rotors and you might want to present them accurately with some numbers to back it all up...just my 2c

Did you ever get a chance to micrometer check the thickness of the (4) rotors?Originally Posted by C_DirtyTwo

Put these in storage for a year. I will have the money next year, and I will buy the **** out of these. That is all.

On the edge of the rotor, there's a wear indicator. Just turn the rotor 360 and you will see a 1" dented on the rotor of the rotor. You can take a pics of it.

if you ever part I would probably be interested in the front rotors as Im running my 6/4 pot off the OEM C55 calipers in the front with spacers! saved me $1000 when I bought the full set about 6 months ago

not gonna part them out, and pretty sure these rotors wouldnt work with your SLK calipersOriginally Posted by maverik259

what kind of car do you have?
what size are the rotors? and are you sure they're from a clk63 and not clk55? i was under the impression they changed the mounting points for the clk63 vice the clk55 6/4pot which actually do fit the w203 since that is what mine came off of (not an slk, although yes I am well aware it is the same part)

CLK55/SLK55 have a different mounting than the CLK63's due to the larger rotors on the 63's. Both will fit the W203, W209, R171, but you need the correct rotors that pair with the calipers. 360mm rotors will not fit on the 55 calipers which are 340mm I believe.

anyway, ya then it was the bs i must have been thinking of. I knew they were 360mm, but you can get them to fit the 55 calipers by just adding spacers which is what I actually did to run the 55 calipers with my oem rotors which are 345 mm. I added 2.5mm spacers to the calipers to raise them up a bit and voila, saved $800 on rotors!
