Bilstein Sport Struts & Eibach Springs - W203
Up for sale is my suspension from my 2005 MB C230K. The vehicle was purchased with 77,000 miles and the previous owner had installed Eibach springs onto the OEM MB struts. After not achieving the desired stance, the owner then proceeded to cut about 1 coil from all four springs.
Shortly after purchase, I installed these Bilstein sport struts and drove for 90,000 miles. The ride was stiff and eventually i decided to overhaul the suspension and replace it with H&R Coilovers just last week at 167,000 miles.
I planned to transfer the front strut mounts onto the coilovers, but one of the retainer nuts ended up becoming stripped. I tried my best to display this in one of the pictures. I decided to get 2 new front strut mounts and one retainer nut to go along with the H&R coilovers.
I believe these Bilstein's still have some life left in them even after 90,000 miles of use. Most of the driving was to work, back home, to school, occasional weekend road trips here and there, and short trips around town.
I checked for any external leaks upon removal and could not find any. These Bilstein's would be great if you're looking to replace your worn OEM MB struts. As for the Eibach springs, I would encourage purchasing a new set. I didn't like the ride quality of cut springs.
I have no use for this suspension any more and need to make space in my garage. I am asking $400 SHIPPED OR BEST OFFER for EVERYTHING (struts, springs, strut mounts, rear spring pads)
